car been off road for a while and started it up today and there is a rattle along the middle of my car? :( but its not really been moved? will a good run sort this orr? im clueless aha

sounds like exhaust might be hitting something ?.Give it a shake from the back with engine off,see if you can hear anything.Do it cold obviously unless you have an a+e fetish !.

My headsheild is a bit loose and rattles now and then. You should be able to grab it from the engine bay and give it a wee shoogle.

prob just a heat shield ,they corrode where they are fixed and come loose.

if it's anything like mine then it could be a collapsed cat! car ran fine until i came home from a job interview and it started rattling when i was lifting off, climbed under and you can hear it coming from the car    :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

i have this same problem but only when the its cold when she's warm it doesnt rattle :S
