how much roughly would you make from breaking a gti (8v or 16v, 3dr of 5dr)??

It would depend entirely on any modifications which could be sold on and the condition of the car/engine.....

The resonance i ask is 'coz lookin on ebay there a lot of gtis goin for bout £3/400 and wondered if there is a profit to be made?? Saw a vento with a years ticket go for £275!

Wouldn't pay much more than 300 tbh as there won't be a great deal of profit to be made regardless, Unless there are sought after mods on it. You will be left with a shed load of unwanted parts as well and will take forever to shift, unless you weigh it in for scrap along with the shell.
