woah, sorry about touching everyone's nerve's, maybe i've been reading things differently since i've signed up here, not as long as some of you so can comment on only what i've read, which probably isn't the half of it, but i'm not trawling through years old posts to see what you've all said so i'm 100 percent. I've only been into vw's (what i term the scene, not the "Scene" fancy stickers pink wheels sort of scene. - does that make sense?)

@ DH, if you read what i've written i tend to agree with you on what i've read  :laugh:more often than not, (the bits i've any useful knowledge on anyway ) It's just you do seem to have to belittle people and it's just well not too kind really. My only Gripe is the delivery of said knowledge and opinions. Meh maybe i'm sensitive, but most of the banter i follow, Might just be me having a different way of looking at things or having manners even to people who know less than me. So Hugs and kisses now, or you staying on that high horse? And i can't help it's taken a while to get into vw's. Sure i made the same offer when i signed up though, cba to trawl back and look to be honest. But massive congratulations on owning a vw before me, and being into car forums before me, Huge achievment that is, signing up to golfgtiforum before another internet randomer you look down you're nose at Cheers for the correction, it does my ed in when i gets it rong but i's from bristle and its k. And i know its my wax i bought/looted it   Can can you check the spelling on this for me please as i cba

@ f17bad, The car's a beast and lovely, again didn't mention racism, though you did term a chap a p*ki in a previous thread, technicly thats racial abuse isn't it, Not up on the law tbh. but meh you're opinons are you own. (and i assume it was meant in a descriptive way anyhow) I'd be happy with it, well if the pushchair fitted in. Yeah well seems i'm gonna learn about the hate   Sorry maybe i worded it incorrectly, i'll reread it in a mo. I do try to participate, but just obviously got different aims, i've a passat its got a 1.8t too   but its a family wagon so all the nice bits you've got would be wasted on me, plus the disposable income you've got as i'd imagine that build has worked out fairly expensive. I didn't mean about running your mouth about the conversion, i meant about its great i'll smoke tom, dick harry and his mate lee with the bike, telling people 240 odd brake r32's are slow. i dont think it is, maybe its not the fastest thing ever and you're quicker (congrats btw) You're lucky to have such a fast car, well less the running costs. But different strokes for different folks, if i was in the market for a smaller more expensive car to run thats lets practical with it being so low. But I'm not i need something to drag my family around and all the gear. Btw its lowered a bit on coilovers, and on alloys dunno if that counts as participating? maybe not as much as you granted

@ rhyso appolgies then, as i got the wrong end of the stick it seems, but as i stated JUST from what i've read. I won't choke on my wax. Why would I? is that a scene thing? or a veiled threat from a mod? Grow up. Or maybe i've been reading the hating of mk4's as hating instead of sarcasm. Sorry if thats the case also. As for the scene thing again, you go to car shows is that not being part of the car scene? or how would you describe being involved with going to and orginizing/helping to arrange car shows, modifying cars, posting a *million* times on a car forum?

*maybe i made this up

I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...
