searching for leather seats and new roof........

Hi All

1st posting, just got meself a gti karmann soft top and I am looking to get new seats and a new roof.

I wondered if you could help me find a place where I could buy seats, leather preferred and a new roof. I will trawl ebay etc but wondered if there were any specific dealer who can fit etc.

For leather seats I'm afraid it's just a question of looking round for some but they will probably not be easy to find. If the seats that are already in are ok then why not consider recovering them in leather ?  As for the hood, there's a thread here because I can't be bothered typing out the whole thing again cos I'm lazy  ---> http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=19980.0 I think uou said you were in Wales in the new members board and a couple of lads from down Newport way replied to that thread. The seats will be bloody hard to find in good condition. I was shocked how good mine were. Then he told me it was stored in a barn when not used 

U might pick up a second hand roof on ebay or maybe even the for sale section

try 'jack smith' in swansea for the roof and leather.

i paid 250 smackers for my mohair roof off him.

and to get my 'sportline' seats leathered was well cheap, but i didnt get them done as i was skint lol
