Hi everyone, im john from isle of wight, just purchased a 1999 golf gti 1.8 turbo.

I look forward to having a good read, helping people out where i can and purchasing lots of parts.

laguna front splitter (being removed)
atmos dump valve (being removed)
cone air filter (being removed)
remapped (no proof though)

Car was in quite a bad state when i got it, mostly little things thats needed doing (see wanted topic), iv managed to source some of the bits off ebay and at bargain prices imo.

mirror adjuster switch £10
gamma head unit £1.63
standard air box £5

brakes were feeling a bit soft so bled the master cylinder...however 1 of the nipples was very tight so didnt want to risk that in case it snaps so pretty much got one sorted off this forum, that way i can have anothe rgo and if it snaps iva  spare to stick on.
rear silencer is blowing so found a system on ebay from USA thats turbo back and only £159.99 + £49.99 postage.
