Hubcentric or Flat spacers?
« on: 20 August 2011, 10:24 »
Hi all!

I have 18'' alloys on my 1.8t and am about to lower it around 40-45mm, but am already getting rubbing my way through the splash gaurds on full lock.... any ideas on what size spacers i'll be needing and whether it is worthwhile getting hubcentric or flats?

I have heard 0-10mm use flats and 10mm+ use hubcentric? any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Gabriel

Haha I like your thinking!

All depends on offset and rim width...

I'm on the mk5 gti alloys with 225/45/18... i think they have a 51 offset. I'm not sure on the rim width...  :undecided:
