Time to slow down!
« on: 18 August 2011, 22:26 »
Well here is another GTI victim of a speeding ticket! got caught doing 94 in a 70! My first speeding ticket ever! Someone driving up my arse and I put the foot down with out realising the bad guys were infront in an unmarked car! Well no one to blame but myself  :lipsrsealed: 60quid and 3 points!

Sorry to hear this Kenny. Don't do anymore tuning to make the car into a veritable rocket.
Hope your Insurance Premium does not rocket by too much.
Drive safely and more sedately.

You mean kerb crawling?.......careful you may get a fine for this aswell

Seriously unlucky mate regarding the speeding ticket. It happens to the best of us and it must be even more annoying seeing as you've never had a ticket before. It's not easy to stick to anywhere near 70 mph in any car these days on a motorway. I always drive down the fast lane as I always think its the safest if you keep you distance. Which bugs the hell out of me when you've got others driving up your ar'@se.

Congratulations Kenny - 2 mph faster and you'd probably have wound up in court with a larger fine and double the points.

Welcome to the club

I know, I should start looking for a TDI!

Murder sticking to 70mph, pointless having a fast car!

..............speed limit needs to be raised.  Modern cars have come on a long way since the limits were placed back in the 60's.
