Have you tried the specialist brokers.

HIC can be competitive, but it only seems to be if your over 25.

messaged hic in the insurance section and also requested a callback tomorrow from adrian flux i didnt mind paying 172 obviously coz of the points but cudnt justify nearly 300 a month ill sort sumfin 1 way or another

And I'm sure all price comparison sites add commission

I always find the best quote on there then ring the company directly! But then again those sites always quote over 2K for me and can't see why!

e car are sh!te! was with them for a while, but as its web based, the customer services are proper sh!te! There is a claims line, but if you ring them about anything else, they wont deal with it and tell you to email them. Takes weeks and tons of emails to get a response. Phoning them is £1 a minute as well!! How much is your car worth?? Can you risk TPFT as that will bring it right down too obviously. Adrian flux/HIC (same company pretty much) are good, I've just renewed with them. They actually have outsource as well (probs take commission on it). My insurance is actually through LV, but Adrian Flux actually deal with my policy.
