FAO Black GTi owners, quick help needed

Hi chaps,

Cracked the front bumper last week tapping into the back of a volvo. Only hit it at pullng off speed, need bumper, grill etc needed. Cant believe what it did 

just inspected the insurance repair, not sure if the plastic part the number plate holder fits to should be painted pearl black the same as the bumper and bodywork? Or not?

I dont think it should, any black pearl owners could post a pic or just reply i would very much appriciate it

All should be painted.

on pearl black car the number plate surround is gloss black not pearl

Thanks for the replies, more confused now 

The part im refering to is the plastic directly below the red stripe. May be the grill part itself.

Insurance say it comes piano black and doesnt come primed like the bumper amd doesnt need painting to match?? I think they are correct.

Basically its piano black plastic part! Which isnt matched to the pearl painted bumper.

Again a close up from a fellow member could help?

Basically should this be left standard glossy black or painted pearl black to match the bodywork?

Thought as much, just wasnt sure on the pearl black ones they matched it.

I'll second (triple?) the piano black. It's just a piece of black gloss plastic trim. I had to unclip mine when replacing a faulty bonnet latch sensor.
