Try Adrian Flux, people always say they're good.
If it's just a second car, try insuring it on a restricted mileage or even a classic policy.

I pay 440 for my mk3 16v, I am 27 with 8 years ncb, but live 15 miles from liverpool so it goes up a lot.

if it is a 89 or older you could put it on a classic insurence if it is a second car

it's an 89 small bumper, will probably do about 3000miles a year.

Having just spent the morning ringing around for quotes forced upon me by a renewal quote of £862.90  in the post I just got a quote of £590 Fully Comp (Adrian Flux)  .  I've just turned 24 (March 28), have 3 years NCB, living in Bradford, parked in drive overnight and declared stainless exhaust, 17" alloys and PiperX induction kit.

Every insurance company that I've called since weren't able to match it with the nearest quote being £680.00.

Regards

Ian

mine wanted roughly £300 to insure a 1.3 mk2 even though I had the 20vT down as the main car. It's murder!
