Kevs Golf mk4 GTTDI 130 Project
« on: 17 August 2011, 22:59 »
Welcome to my project! It isn't going to be massive but hopefully will be effective! I have had the car for a few months now and it up for sale however i am quite tempted to keep the car and make some mods. It is a 2002 MK4 GT TDI, 117 on the clock, in Metalic Black, is the 130 edition but has 150 wheels and badge. Full leather, climate, sunroof, 6 cd, heated seats, electric everything. I bought it from the specialised and performance car dealership i was working at for 6 months when they took it on px. When i saw it i had to have it :)

So far it hasn't had anything special done, it has a turbo strip and clean in 2008, has a richbrook tax disk holder and new number plates i made for it from the dealership i was working at.

As it stands....

If i keep the car I will be making the following pretty much small mods in the next two weeks:

Chrome dial surrounds
New gear knob and gaiter with chrome surround
Kenwood 6.5"'s and tweets in the doors
New centre caps as mine are a bit crap
Alloy touch up/rapair touch up stick
Parking sensors (not sporty but i like them)

I have just bought an official vw leather wallet/folder to out all the services, work and reciepts in and a new metal badge for my key :)

I swapped all 3 wipers with the aero wipers, looks better and "swishes" a lot smoother and efficient. I also changed all the centre caps as they were on their last legs.

Got a fire extinguisher and it fits perfectly in the left hand compartment of the boot  (pics to come with it inside the car)
