Sprinkler fire protection. You missed the boat there sonny. Their about to make it law here in Wales that all new houses be fitted with sprinklers.

My best mate pete owns aquamist fire protection based in wakefield, might be going to work for him next year if I want a job that is, but i enjoy sitting on my arse doing nothing all day lol

If I had my time over I'd stay in my field (sprinkler fire protection) but would learn CAD and become a designer who do plans for new installs, refurbs, general works etc... Learn CAD, learn FPCB and FM (American) rules and enjoy the salary.

Mike

Cos' by using.."If I had my time over.." conveys that you are no longer in the field.

But you've cleared that up, so you're on to a winner here in Wales.

Get out if you dont like it. I left before i was put into deputy manager. £45k a year + benefits. I knew that would be my life though and 12 hour days would be the norm.

So fecked it off and moved into IT. Im already earning what i was as a general manager in Tesco.

I worked for Tesco from 22-24 and hated every minute!
