Golf 1.6 FSI problem
«

The problem I am having is that when I accelerate the car will slow down and the revs will not go over 4000 in any gear.
Does anyone have any idea's on what the problem could be?

Sounds like the engine is going into limp mode, get the fault codes checked with vag com.
