Hi
Seems my baby is somehow getting pretty wet under the bonnet when shes just standing overnight, as a result all the electrics are getting wet and im havin to fiddle about with ht leads, dizzy cap etc in the morning to start her
any ideas?

it probably be good idea to replace them or give them a good clean out with some wd40 an a wire brush, not sure how there getting wet been thru any deep puddles???

Thats the thing thats bothering me, the misses was drivin the car last night and she only drove it a couple of miles through the city.  Don't see how she could have gone through any puddles, and when i asked her she said she hadnt.  The whole inlet manifold and everywhere was soaking wet.  Very strange

check the pipes or see if your loosing water, i had one that had a leak one that goes over the manifold

will check tomorrow but shes nickin the car to go to work in at 6am
ruddy woman says she doesnt drive it fast and then i hear these stories of guys who say aww yeah is that your car?  It went flying past me the other day.  Or thx for cuttin me up the other day.  Or sometimes i get people flashin at me and shoutin obscenities lol god knows what she does when she gets behind the wheel.  I just bought some wheels coz she curbed all the old ones.  Once the new wheels are on i plan on keepin her well out of the car.  Thats it woman rant over

Save your truck the pain!!! run engine on idle until rad fan kicks in and check the pipes etc give it all a good coat of wd40 on the leads and plugs to keep the evil water out!!.

cheers man.  Seems ok now.  No doubt she went swimming in the car, bouncing through every puddle she could.  Started biddin on that punto!!
