Anyone fancy giving my new song a listen? It's progressive house (as a heads up for people who dont like dance music).

Let me know what you think, whats good/places to improve on etc?

On a first listen the hats are a little loud in the mix. Could do with side chaining the kick and snare for a bit more punch. I'd also slap some massive reverb on the vox samples so they sit better in the mix. Possibly some distortion on the claps and bass synth to to make them a bit more meaty.

Another tip for a fat bass is to detune each oscillator (if youre using a multi osc) in opposite directions by about 1 cent, that way you keep the pitch but you get a thicker sound.

That's just me being really picky, I think it sounds awesome.

EDIT: Unwanted autocorrect.

Thanks for the replies people! Yeah the hats are a little loud i agree, i've got the snare and claps compressed together but didn't think to link them to the kick sidechain! I did try adding a deeper bass synth at first but the lead synth has such a broad EQ band that it started to sound really distorted. I'll give what you have suggested a go and see how it sounds :)

thanks for posting it on facebook as well dude!
