guys iv had a search and not much really explains what im after


iv got a Laserline alarm, think its the 996 but will double check.
the full closeure works, alarm arms etc, indicators flash, and will flash when the circuit is broken etc etc however the unit does not sound. it doesnt even sound when arming,

does anyone know why? and i dont have the money for a new system so would like to get this working lol

I would say its broken. maybe take it apart and have a look?

whats broken is the question? the siren box has a key hole on the top which switches on/off the unit and that works

thats why you would take it apart and have a look to see whats broken

i have same alarm, and on occasions the arming and disarming beep disappear for no reason what so ever then starts working again suddenly. sorry i can;t help but i think if all else wors i wouldn;t worry too much. you could contact laserline i bought a spare fob of them and found them very helpful
