I love it when somebody highlights a persons stupidity face to face.  Good work that man!

Lol at the hate brigade. The same brigade that were going on about how the Traffic Cops had lost their discretion.

My only point was I think he coulda simply explained things to the drivers rather then threaten.

As you were.

in case you need to work out what pathos means - http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pathos

two cars overturned. people blocking the emergency services route to the scene.

he didn't threaten anyone, far from it.

i think he is completely justified in taking down plate numbers and passing them onto the police for prosecution.

Fair enough. I don't. Simple words imo would have been fine.

Each to their own.

Completely agree they should not be there tho!

Driving on the motorway: Motorway and Traffic Regulations (1982)

Laws MT(E&W)R regs 5, 9 & 16(1)(a), MT(S)R regs 4, 8 & 14(1)(a), and RTA 1988, sects 35 & 186, as amended by TMA 2004 sect 64

....You MUST NOT drive on the hard shoulder except in an emergency or if directed to do so by the police, HA traffic officers in uniform or by signs.

Laws MT(E&W)R regs 5, 5A & 9, MT(S)R regs 4 & 8

....Hard shoulder. You MUST NOT use the hard shoulder for overtaking. In areas where an Active Traffic Management (ATM) Scheme is in force, the hard shoulder may be used as a running lane. You will know when you can use this because a speed limit sign will be shown above all open lanes, including the hard shoulder. A red cross or blank sign above the hard shoulder means that you MUST NOT drive on the hard shoulder except in an emergency or breakdown. Emergency refuge areas have also been built into these areas for use in cases of emergency or breakdown.

Laws MT(E&W)R regs 5A, 7, 9, 10 & 16,MT(S)R regs 6(1), 8, 9 & 14, PRA 2002 sect 41 & sched 5(8), & RTA 1988 sects 35 & 163 as amended by TMA 2004, sect 6

....You MUST NOT stop on the carriageway, hard shoulder, slip road, central reservation or verge except in an emergency, or when told to do so by the police, HA traffic officers in uniform, an emergency sign or by flashing red light signals. Do not stop on the hard shoulder to either make or receive mobile phone calls.

It's funny cos if they leave the hard shoulder accessible the accident would probably be cleared quicker leaving them free to get to their ever so important destination

I've only just seen this video.

I'm not sure why bellend/josho whatever your name is, has taken it upon themselves to play devils advocate. The guy didn't threaten at all, and simply asked them what they were doing to try and highlight their stupidity, unfortunately you then get the idiotic (i'm going to try and play it cool) type of person like the dozy bint in the zimmer who gives it the "no, it doesn't bother me blah blah" talk because they have just blindly followed others.

The guy has actually done very well to talk to people as a pose to go over shouting and swearing calling them names and has just done it to highlight the idiocy of people who don't think before they act.

If he does submit this to the police and they decide to prosecute then hopefully a story will be released on it and highlight how stupid it can be to block an emergency lane.
