DH, very good find.

I completely agree with this video. I've seen this happen countless times on various stretches of motorway and in fact I have seen emergency vehicles get held up but such behaviour. The incident required a police car and two ambulances to get past where I was in the queue. The first ambulance tried to get down the hard shoulder but ended up having to cut into the gap between the outside and middle lanes. The police car then followed shortly after down the gap between the outside lane and the central reservation. The second ambulance tried to come down the hard shoulder again and ended up on the grass more than once in order to get through.

There is absolutely no excuse for this behaviour!

EDIT: just wanted to add some about Gilly's comments - I agree that people think they can get away with it which is why I wonder whether the ANPR cameras should be used in this situation to clock those who have cut into the hard shoulder. Alternatively just get an extra couple of police to come down and book them all.

Install bowling alley like retractable bumpers in the white lines so that anyone who pulls into the hard shoulder is trapped in there

Quality video.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

just stop, words cannot express how small your mind is.

Singularly unable to take away a valid point from anything.  It must be painfully debilitating in real life.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Lol at the hate brigade. The same brigade that were going on about how the Traffic Cops had lost their discretion.

My only point was I think he coulda simply explained things to the drivers rather then threaten.

As you were.

I think hate is a rather strong word in this circumstance.

We're feeling pathos for you.
