So many things it could be but sounds sensor related

any ideas? as its been scanned i thought that would rule out sensors? dont fancy buying sensors for no reason due to money.

Not up on your engine, but I'm sure sometimes the crank sensor doesn't ping codes? Maybe worth trying it!!
Coil pack too?

Believe me its a dead ringer for you! Even says something stupid!

if you got spark and petrol, but no bang then you most probably got no compressor,

check the cylinders compression.

I suppose the sensors would have thrown up a code, if no compression I think your next bet would be to check the timing ( do the V5s have chains or belts?) if it is belt driven and if nothing from that whip the head off.

Chain driven :afro:

Also worth remembering early ones were noted for piston problems
