Golf grill conversion looks cool, and ABF drops in easy.
Not sure but i think digi will run an abf, someone will confirm or deny in a couple of mins

ABF needs matching ecu etc.

Looks a nice tidy project

Same thing happened to me, got my golf and my dad suddenly became interested, might be cos these cars were the dogs bollocks when our dads were a bit younger 
yh he wasnt really botherd about vw's until i got my golf n new i think hes as hooked as me lol, got plans for it i'e sortin stuff and maybe wheel change but no talk of engine change yet lol
