Amsterdam anyone been?

Hello

Going Amsterdam in a couple of weeks just for a couple of day's my question is has anyone been also are they banning smoking the green at the end of this year some places say yes some places say no??? also anyone recomend any places to go whilst I am there?

doubt they will be banning the green

if you want to good stuff go away from the center and avoid all the tourist attractions

hire out a bike and ride around

Try a search it has been covered not long ago.

I went last month for a weekend.
I was so impressed with there transport system amongst other things  
Great place but i couldnt stay there for longer than a weekend.  A lot of places didnt allow smoking of tobacco in the bars but green is allowed! this made a mess of me as i dont really smoke it that often! ha
try this place, its one of the best places for it: cafe 420 amsterdam. the 420 haze  

anyway there is the usual by day, heineken factory, sex museum etc, if the weather is good, get the train to vandervoort and get on the beach and check the beach clubs out!
By night the red light, always a laugh if your with the lads! watch out for the alley of temptation if you have a mrs!!

been a few times and was pretty cool

the Bulldog is a good cafe to go to  not sure what the rules are now regarding tobacco smoke as havent been in about 3 yrs but loads of cafes dotted about the place and the red light district is pretty funny when your stoned some right monsters behind some of the windows

Ann franks house and the van gogh museums are really good places to visit. Also the boat ride around the canals are fun when with a bunch of mates

cool yeah will do staying at the Flacon PLaza which I have now been told is in a bad area
