Sell a MK3 or a MK4

Owned my Mk4 1.6 SE since feb, its a good car that needs next to nothing doing to it but have just been given a MK3 diesel, the MK3 needs a bit or work (no MOT and the rad leaks). I'm going to get the MK3 through an MOT as if i sell it, the MOT makes it more saleable (and valuable) but the MK4 will be worth more.
I travel about 60 miles a day so thinking the diesel would be better but prefer the MK4's looks.
What would you do?

60 miles a day he said  Sell them both and get a some sort of pd engine and map it, the 130 maybe, easy 160bhp with a remap, or a 110 for an easy 140ish?

AHU TDI diesel will make upto 170 bhp, not sure about the other engine but I know someone with an awsome 1.9 tdi which absolutely flys.
In fact it kicked my old valver into the weeds and left me 50m behind ragging the sh!t out of it to try and keep up.....
My top speed was higher but he got to his half a day before me

Cheers guys but selling them both to get a 1.8t is not on the cards, maybe sell them both and get a newer diesel but because of the mileage i do (and the insurance) then a 1.8t is out.
Need to get the MK3 MOT'd 1st then might advertise both of them. If they both sell then i'm either on bike or taking the camper (1969 Westy)
