Very pleased to say I sold my baby @ £ 3250 and it's gone to an enthusiast who will lavish as much TLC as I did on her over the last decade.
Sad to see her go.

Well even our the owner of our local garage (who have serviced it for us since the VW warranty ran out) said he has never seen or dealt with a car like it in such pristine condition in 34 years in the trade. I think he knows his stuff. So happy it's going to someone who'll loook after it.

Only sold coz of our 17 year old about to star driving and cannot get insurance for him on the GTi.

Congrats for getting such a good price. Autotrader does seem to be better if your car is worth a reasonable amount, as all cars listed on there are slightly higher price wise, than they are realistically worth.
