even the mk4 with the updated software (not a remap) gets 247

lol Well thats why i went for an S3 as its easier to see 350bhp. But i dont love it like the R32, so its still standard

wow didn't know this was still going havn't been on for a week haha anyway its gone off topic abit i appreciate all your r32's s3's and mk3 turbo's are fast but for a normal 16v mk3 im thinking i done alright myself  if i wanted fast and fun it wouldn't be vag thats for sure! but anyway i love all cars and racing is down to driver alot aswell of which im not scared to race anyone in anything faster or not its all fun picking out the wimps who bottle it when it counts!!

People get too hung up on peak power figures.

Very true. There's too many people going on about the BHP of their car, but as you said, BHP is only a peak power.

They don't seem to look at torque, how power is delivered, where it is. Potentially, a car with less BHP could well be the quickest one, even if the weights are the same.
