Can anyone tell me if the Mk2 Golf has the same pwr steering rack and subframe as the corrado. I have a 92 1.8 16V KR.

There are a lot of detail differences and you may find the set up you install does not behave as you wish.
I would be interested in taking the Corrado subframe off you.

4 cly rado subframe will fit golfs...they just have added on tabs behind the arb mount area, and a wieght added on for vibration damping , you can leave that off
not 100% sure on the rack...should fit , but might have differant length tie rods?

And there are two different spline-types on the rack, too.
