Window Regulator Clips

Had the dreaded window drop over the weekend, seems the clips have snapped, just been to vw who kept telling me they only sell the complete panel w/o motor for £98.

My question is, should i purchase either of these :

Which would be the easier to fit, I remember having to do it on another golf i had a few years ago, but the guide i used then i cant find now, can only find the vortex guide which seems more difficult

I am pretty sure this is the same one as my old man bought for his golf when his clips went. I would recommend it. We spent a good hour or so fitting it but in the end we got there. I say buy this one as if I remember correctly the old clips that we took off (the broken ones) where different to the new ones that came with the whole new window kit.

As for instructions I found some on here...let me go see if I can find them again
