Wich fog light do you use?

Hello,

i have a new car with xenon, wich fog lights can i use to match my xenon headlights?

Does anyone actually ever use their foglights?

Don't turn them on. Then you won't have to worry about them looking yellow next to you xenon headlights.

As above - you won't need fogs with your xenon's  :wink:

Funnily enough I was thinking along the same lines, I've never ever switched mine on so wouldn't even know if they didn't work!
I was also under the impression that yellowish light worked better in fog. But that may be out of date thinking now?

Mine doesn't but you may be able to switch it via VCDS(?)

A warm welcome back to our prodigal Dutchman and his second GTI in about a year!
The fog lights are the correct hue to be effective. If you don't like the colour, then don't use them. Anyway, it does not matter when you do, as you can't really see them with a full frontal view. If you can, then I'd be very concerned.
I've never used mine as I live in sunny, temperate and civilised London.
Hope your second GTI is as good as your first.

I know. You changed the car just to get those fairy lights. Me: I have Halogens which don't dance, but a fabulous in-car Hi-Fi system which makes ME dance like a fairy! :grin: :shocked:

I have used mine a few times but i live on the hills in the North were its often thick fog. Using a white light will make them useless as foglights.
