I have a HUGE gripe with the A3, you can't pull the handbrake up with the armrest down!! How cr@p is that! 






Apart from that i quite like it as long as no-one needs to get in the back

Yep, I agree. Just poor design. Shame because the rest of the car was half decent back in it's day (having gone past it's sell-by date about 2 years ago).

Sportback sorted that out but yeah the armrest thing is a pain in the arse

My gaffa has a sportback and is the same..
