Looks ok. At least it will be a proper step up this time, rather than a mk5.5  :laugh:

This is the real deal;
Thanks for posting that up.
Any sign of the new Leon yet? Surely they must both be due replacement at around the same time. Although the mk5 Golf was brought in a year before the Leon it's the Leon that has the run out deals going on at the moment (and selling very well too). And the A3 is even older isn't it?

Anyway, my thoughts on the new Golf are the same as every time I see a new Golf: Boring but it will grow on me. I'm sure the GTI/D/R will look a little more exciting. I don't like the front but the wider flared rear arches look better.

If it looks like that we'll forgive the cardboard interior

LOL, when did the A3 last have a chasis change or interior change?......  I had a 54 plate A3, 05 Plate Sportback and an 08 Sportback and as far as I know the current model is the same car from 2004?  At least 0.5 is better than standing still....

The mk5.5 interior looks identical  :laugh:

They changed the bonnet, lights, wings, rear valance, grille, wing mirrors, rear lights off the top of my head. So similar to the mk5 to mk6 basically

My 54 plate A3 was the 'facelift' model so since then - nothing of note.  Oh and don't correct me as I've had 3 A3's spanning 2004 and 2010...

You need to go to a VW showroom and look at the differences between a MK5 and the MK6.  Oh yeah and whilst your there ask them where the A3 forum is.........
