Speaking with my mate Si the other day about his car as he hasnt driven it much as he was 'bored' of his 3.0 non turbo Supra as it wasnt quick enough . I took some photos of his old GTR33 Skyline which was a 2.6 twin turbo mosnter very fast and just great! whcih he sold and then got a supra instead. Anyway he said ages ago he wanted to do a V8 conversion (make the car more fun) but couldnt afford too and was going to look into getting a bike instead.

Just got a txt from him 'Picking up my 4.0 V8 supra on friday' hes swappign his old one with soem cash to this guy should be a monster cant wait to take some photos and video  :evil:

hes going to hurt himself, I can see it now!! but cant wait for the noise

Suposed to be in very mint conditon in black as well, i just want to see how this silly engine sits in the car! and the noise of course

The engine should fit fine and leave quite a gap at the front, I just question the logic of putting only a 4l V8 in there. Is that a Lexus V8 and if so whats it pushing as the only 4l one I can think of is no more powerfull than the stock turbo engine and nowhere near as tuneable?

not sure dude, but I dont think its a lexus V8 ill try and find out and when hes got it ill be sure to post us some pictures

Might be a Rover V8 which is light and tunable, would work great in a big fat supra.
