Hello there
« on: 04 August 2011, 15:40 »
Hi,

Saying hello to everyone as me and the missus just bought an '02 Mark IV Golf GTI a couple of weeks ago.  First Golf for me (and first car actually!) as I'm a motorbike nut really.  I'm not the type that takes car wing mirrors off for the sake of it, honest

Seems in very good condition (78k miles, FSH etc blah) but the first thing I'm doing is changing the cheap rubber the seller stuck on it, awful horrible tyres that feel like the sidewalls are going to give way any second.

Next thing to do is try and get out the habit of squeezing between rows of cars

Looking forward to browsing through the forum and picking up some hints and tips.

Andy
