Wing Mirrors

I'm going to be ordering some new mirrors. The website is asking me if i want 3 wire or 4 wire elctric motors.. does anyone know which one i should be selecting?

I don't think so, as there are two seperate wires that go nowhere near the motor for the demister.

I just replaced my motor recently, mines a 97 golf with a 4 wire motor if that helps Wherry

my 1995 has 4 mate it's the "early" style mk3 with the ariel on the wing, and not the roof
