Hi all
Sorry for the rubbish thread title, but couldnt think of anything else.
Anyway, basically i am after some advice on the rear quarters/wings on a MK3 Golf. I have rolled my lip on arch and do not have too much problem with the Borbet alloys i have fitted but want to go a bit lower, but if i do it rubs alot! The easiest way i feel to do this rather then pulling the arch would be to cut the lip back flush and then use rust preventer but the only thing that concerns me is it being double skinned and the two skins being welded together. Can anyone advise me if cutting the lip will affect the skins and welds, or will it be ok?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Regards
David
