Are these wheels one in the same?

Pretty much, the VWR Wheels are made by Team Dynamics for VWR, they have VWR logo on them which is a nice touch.  They put quite a mark up on the pirce though.

Also most TD's you buy will have plastic spigot rings where as the VWR's will have the correct 57.1mm core bore.

Cheers chaps.

I'll give VWR a call for a price  Looking at £900'ish for the 1.2's with decent tyres on.

And the rest

I think the wheels alone are £700 from VWR plus £100+ a corner for tyres.

If they are that price then it'll be the Pro Race then. Best I've had is just over £900 with one of the online suppliers. With tyre packages ranging up to just over £1k with Toyo T-1R's. Used to run these on trackdays on my Evo and found them very good.

Not wanting to go mad, as it's only a visual enhancement on a daily runner.  :roll eyes:

We probably don't tbh, but being a typical sweaty, why pay for something that I'll never use.  :roll eyes:

If I had a GTi or an R then I'd pay more for tyres, but not for a oil burner.

The VWR's have to be the nicest alloys I've seen for/on the GTI.

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

Someone in another forum claims they weigh 9KG

Past = 2006 MK5 GTI - Tornado Red and Solid Black
