just speedo stopped workin, revs work just speed counter wat could be causin this?

Speedometer drive??

All transmissions are fitted with an electronic speedo transducer it measures the rotational speed of the transmission final drive and converts it into  an electronic signal which is then sent to the  speedo module.. :grin:

It's located on the top of the transmission casing.. :huh:

hey guys im having a similar problem..

the speedo works ok most of the time but on occasions it just drops to 0 and then jumps back to the proper speed again after a while.

i am no mechanic - how do u get to that part lol?

:grin: knacked sender in the top of the gearbox like mine need a new one  from dealer only £43  :sad:  fit in 2 Min's with a 5.5 Allen key   :laugh: get mine Friday so 2 days with no speedo  :evil: :cool: till a camera gets me  :huh: help
