VR6 Highline P reg Value?

There is the chance of a VR6 Highline P reg (97) with 80k Full VW service history and 1 previous owner( which means 2 owners in my mind)
I'm hoping to look at it on Friday. :cool:

What do you think would be a reasonable value for this car. Assuming!!! :rolleyes: it's in good condition? :smiley:

"what car" says for a standard VR6 private £3139 and £3573 trade.

not a VR6 expert so couldn't say, but "Highline" sounds like it would have some nice extras, so i guess you'd add a few hundred.

Parkers guide reckons you should add 15% to the value of a standard vr6 to value a highline.  Sounds a bit much to me, but they seem to go for a bit more due to the spec.

Make sure it is a real Highline if you are going to pay a premium.  It will say Highline on the V5.

If it's up to scratch and you get it for less than £4k then its a bargain.

am i right in saying that highlines generally have metallic paint (like purple?) and leather and climatronic?

Pretty much.  They have either black metallic, plack pearlescent or purple pearlescant paint.  They all have leather.  Black in black ones and purple in puplre ones.  All had a/c as standard, climatronic was an option.

Thanks for the advice, I've printed off the buyers guide to take with me.
It's a Black one with Air Con.I'm looking at.  :smiley:
