Looking at buying this to put in my MK2!!
« on: 27 July 2011, 18:44 »
Evening all,

I'm looking at buying this to put into the mk2, anyone got any input/thoughts??

http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=200229.0

Seems to be just what I'm after, I'm guessing a bit of wiring, immob disable, injectors and a few bits and bobs and I should have a pretty sexy setup! Does anyone know what the ARZ head flows like? I've only really been looking at AGU's so far!

 Cheers

The ARZ will be fine if you just want a conversion.. £750 isnt a bad price aswell yet i have seen BAM lumps go for around that price.. but they didnt come with all these extras

Its not a big name like most people go for.. APY BAM or AGU

It will be good im sure on the major difference between large and small port..

I think I saw somewhere that it's only after 350bhp the head size really matters?? Don't know if its true or not? Still new to the 20v engine!

It will be fine mate aslong as the engines sweet,, you will need a custom or QPeng downpipe and a few other bits and bobs for the conversion
