evening all,
i'm having a few problems setting the tracking both wheels are pointing out and either the track rod or ball joint needs to be wound in, but there as far in as they will go
i have mk2 16v non pas
any ideas?

Are you sure? The threads could be rusty or the lock nuts seized.

100% there brand new and copper greased up...
how could the rear stub axle be the problem?

If it had, had an impact? Are the wheels sitting in the middle of the arch? Or are the new track rods not long enough?

well its all brand new because Ive rebuilt the car
if any thing the rods are two long they need to be a bit shorter each and the will be in line! the rods are 40cm in length unsure if thats correct, I'm thinking cutting them down but thought id ask to see if any one had any ideas first
