DAFT QUESTION FROM NEW GUY
« on: 13 April 2005, 11:41 »
 :undecided:

All mk2 16vs have power steering right?
Thinking of getting a 1988F 16v which needs to be " wife friendly"

thanks for that.
Do you think PAS is a desirable option?
Thinking about resale value in the future.
If it was up to me I would go for non PAS.
I had a MK1 MR2 supercharged before with no pas and she managed ok with that.
Do you think you can "feel the road" more without it?

Having both i would opt for the power assisted steering!! Makes the car totally different to drive.

ive had both and would defo take the PAS. the feel from it is very very good. plus the PAS rack is a quicker rack lock to lock

non-PAS really is like turning a tank

def pas. even i struggled with my old non pas golf at times, and i would say im one of the strongest blokes in the world maybe

universe ,. Having said that my nan is 76 and she drives a '88 driver with no pas
