Just a bit sad you all sit in your own section is all, fair enough when you want mk6 specific info but you could have a good thread here is my point.

Good point Jules, I agree that we don't venture out of here enough.  I'd forgotten about Off Topic area, just visited it and posted ;o)

Jim
When i do venture out of the model specific sections (Mk1, Mk2, Mk5, Mk6) i end up wanting to leave the forum...

I did not move this thread as it was originally posted by a more senior moderator. If you want to have it moved speak to him.

Steve,

I'll post pictures of the Tudor when I get home after work!

I suffer bad OCD with my car and watches. After I detail my car and finish it off with Zymol field glaze, I use the same stuff on the watch which makes it shines like hell when the sun hits the metal links! Worst thing about wearing good looking watches is sometimes you keep looking at your wrist rather than the road ahead!

Same same here mate , but havent got round to useing Dodo SN yet on the the GMT ceramic  But I do use Cape cod for polishing the scracthes out works a treat !!

Shame Can't remember how to post picture here!
Nice GMT.
It takes less time to clean a watch than cleaning cars!

Thanks Steve!
I just graduated from uni and I can't afford a Submariner. That Tudor is just within reach.
I was tempted by a TT GMT but I am resisting any further purchase and concentrating back to cars in the next few years!

Tudor's are very nice , when you put your rolex in for a service they loan you a Tudor for 6 weeks

Agreed esp. older Tudor. The mechanicals and even the bracelets are literally the same with Rolex watches. Tough watch---still keeping good time despite I haven't service it-maybe this year! Not sure this is still the case with current models!

Thanks Snoopy my equal and co-moderator here

I'm happy for it to be thrown over to off topic if that's what we'd all like
