iv messaged a bloke on ebay who is breaking a vr6

iv asked him if he would sell the car as is, but he has already started breaking it

so i asked if he had all the bits i need to which he does and he wants £500 and has said if i have forgotten anything or realise i need anything else i can just have it, however im not allowed the interior

whats peoples thoughts on this?

Have you got the link about it that would give us more info about the engine it dosn't sound to bad a price depending on the condition of the parts why is he breaking it?

As i said in my PM, for bens converison we bought a FULL complete highline for £400

120k Full history, all highline extras

Ben kept the interior (black leathers and black ABC pillars)

and he has sold other parts and been offered £100 for the shell and parts of his old 8v lump

£500 for the engine alone seems alot IMO

not the best lol yeah maybe if its got something like 80k miles on it and you did get everything else you needed i would pay that sort of money i'd be looking for one with fsh aswell try get more info out of him and if you can see it running
