I dont know what to say mk2 ownership has worn me out  :embarassed: and as much as i do love the car i need some thing reliable and better on fuel and cheaper to insure etc etc and the A3 ticks all the boxes

Cheaper to insure?  Really?  That much?

We can do something about the fuel economy.  It starts with the letter A and ends in F.  :grin:

Remember an A3 will include thousands of pounds of free depreciation.

Well just been spendign the day reading up on common faults and issues with them and there are a few which has made me think alot about as the model im looking at and mainly the yr had problems with the cylinder head cracking which well wont be fun unless its already done!

and a few other things I will need to be looking at before i make any sort of decision  :smiley:

Remember Mk2 f***s up you can probably fix it,cheaply and quickly  with an Audi you won't!

tis very very tru as i have learnt just under 150 just to do cambelt that was just parts to

i appreciate what your saying guys and i know from owning my miv 1.8t and the r32 the cost involved but its the overall package, the garage have said teh cambelt has recently been done so ill be checking that out

dont get me wrong i wouldnt ever go back to a golf after owning the audi but then i do have the mk2 track toy so that fills the place of driving a old bone altho there not but u get wat im saying

i say if u like it go for it m8 only reason im thinking about selling my audi is i dont use it enough  :cry:
