Think you need get a second opinion on the fitting. I'd never buy the parts myself and get a garage to fit it for stuff like this which strictly speaking shouldn't be in there...

yup, take it to anothr garage and see what they say, dont mention the clutch has been changed or theyll prob just dismiss it as well.

does the ticking get faster with the revs?

Sorry for bumping my old thread, had my clutch done last august , and noticed this week its started to slip :( car is standard, thought it would of lasted longer than that
