a) that looks like a cr@p and very heavy seat
b) making a mount will be a PITA
c) your bodged together mount won't be crash-tested, unlike the ones in your boring old OEM seats.

I don't mean to sound rude, but bucket seats don't have adjustable backs and nor do they have the appearance of an armchair.

That is a faux bucket seat.

I know Bride is much feted in Japanese car circles, but this is just a fancy road seat and it'll look a bit stoopid if it's one red seat in a different colour interior.

How much does it weigh?  It looks heavy.

From talking to the company I deal with for Carbon parts, I've now seen they do a full carbon Bride recliner seat. Now that must be light. Never heard of Bride before now.

Be interesting to see pics of the rails fitted on this seat mate.

For that, and for the thread in general.

That's because they're ricer-stylee.

Shell seats come in around 6-7kg.  I'd be surprised if the one in the picture above was anywhere near this.

I know it's a recliner, Len, but the title says 'bucket' because it's a 'bucket style' seat.  Bloody nonsense IMO.

I used to have a true bucket seat, a Corbeau GT4 but I cut it up to try and make it into a recliner and fecked it up!
