is there any way to turn the rear wiper off once it's on???

i've got to have my cover off at the moment and all i hear is creak creak every few mins even when it's dry and my front wipers are off

Mine is temperamental to! Only way to turn it off is to 'wiggle' the stalk

the only way it comes on is if i wash the rear window, but it wont turn off, the only way i've found is to knock the ignition off, which then resets it

i found its a bit tempermental if u push the switch 1/2 way back i makes a little click on mine then it turns off

Rear wiped is operated by pushing the right hand stalk forward, to switch it off you simply push it forward again.
