If you want cheap try some of the emerging countries like bulgaria. Have a look on world snowboard guide though and natives.co.uk. Should see you right!

One of the lads at work owns a few houses one being in bulgaria and he quite oftern rents them out. he was saying bulgaria is good for snow but only from around nov too feb time i think it was. could have got the months mixed up. but if your free to go a few months earlier could save money by going somewere like that.

that sounds great unfortunately i have holiday in march and not feb

If we cant find anywhere we were thinking vegas or newyork? Bit more expensive but might be better then go snowboarding either closer to xmas or early the year after?

Decision decisions :undecided: :undecided: lol

You can visit Sugarloaf, Mainein in New England. Nights are frosty and excellent place to go for snowboarding.

Japan Rocks Muff.

Super fluffy snow!

Can't rate it enough, only issue I could find was food that was filling enough, sashimi, sushi and noodles off a little bay leaf didn't quite feed the beastly hunger.

I went bording in andorra a couple of years ago... it was fantastic!! lots and lots of fresh powed great for boarding. Would love to go again!!

Went in Jan time... it didnt stop snowing for about 5 days when we were there!!

Went austria last year and although the slopes and resort were great there wasnt much snow about.. not any on some slopes!! I would spend that little bit more and go andorra

we stayed in soldeu.. hotel was right across the road from the lifts. there is also a hermitage(?) hotel there... one of the nicest hotels you will ever see. Full of russian billionaires though.. so expect a little snobbery
