that seems quite good but you could also just pay a detailer thats friendly to clean your car and show you how to do it ??

I went on an autosmart course... teaches you valeting properly.... getting the chance to work in a valeting environment gives you lots of tips that you can carry on to your business

if you're after 'detailing' courses though it is a different matter... don't expect to learn much in the way of polishing apart from wacking a bit of G3 onto an orbital polisher on the autosmart course

I suppose it is detailing i'm more interested in Guy and not for the money, it's more a good understanding of all that can be done really, i'm always 'cleaning' friends and families cars but would like to be able to do a bit of correction here and there.
I bet going to a couple of the DW tutorial meets would serve me better?

i'd save the £155 and use that on quality products.

I've got a some decent stuff but not for correction, i'd just like a good understanding of different products and techniques for polishing and protection before i spend a small fortune and then knacker everyones paint! :grin:

I currently do all my polishing, sealing and waxing etc by hand but will eventually get a DA. :sick:

if you're going to be doing it a lot then you're better off getting a decent rotary or you'll be there forever and a day

and yes, you're better off going on a DW course if thats what you want to learn as they are very good (having been on the advanced one myself).. you get to try out lots of different DA's and rotarys too so you can feel the difference between them
