Weitec Ultra GT kit is what i fitted to mine a few months ago, pretty decent quality for the price point although im now running Eibach Sportlines on the Weitec shortened struts as the spring rate i had was wrong and wanted a touch more comfort.

Weitec Ultra GT does look very tempting - how do they stack up compared to the SPAX ones in terms of build quailty?

I think some of it might come down to what they can get sent out to me fairly quickly. The car is currently dragging its arse about

:(

I have the Weitec Ultra GT set on my mk3 valver and they are superb, great ride, not too harsh, handle very well, no crashing, cant fault them!  They were on there when I bought the car, so at best guess they are at least 3 years old now and still pull their weight!  Get some!

Swings & roadabouts tbh I think, i've heard more positive reviews of the Weitecs than SPAX but neither of them are poor quality. If it were me i'd pick Weitec

Bilstein B4 shocks and Eibach pro Kit springs. This whole set up will cost around £300 and you get very good quality stuff.

I got it all from http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/. Give them a call (I think it was Colin I spoke to), very helpful guys, super quick delivery etc etc.

I would get SPAX coilovers if they would go lower then 65mm!! i would suggest trying to get some coilovers that give adjustable damping too!

A little over budget at £770, but would be my suggestion: http://www.venommotorsport.com/manufacturer_product.php?manufacturer=FK&category=suspension&product=KonigsportCoilovers&make=VW&model=GolfMk3
