The date is set......
« on: 19 July 2011, 08:57 »
.....Finally, on the 29th August I shall be moving into a house with a big drive and a garage!!

This is something Ive been wanting for many years. Ive lived in the centre of town where there was no parking whatsoever and on various other sh!tty little roads where your wing mirrors get smashed off etc so this is a big event for me.

The question is - what car would you buy for around £500 to put in the garage and play around with? No other plans for it at the minute other than something as a toy/ restoration project/ reason to hang out in the garage. I was thinking VR6.

Thats kind of what I was thinking mate - something with a blown head gasket or summat, you can get them real cheap and I wouldnt be in a massive rush to fix it.
