there doesn't seem to be any after market exhaust for a 1.6 will a one for a gti fit it or has anyone got any ideas where they are sold

Try powerflow exhaust they are stainless steel and you can pick what tail pipe you want :smiley:

Or longlife, same sort of thing, i've had a bad experience with powerflow.  Was a few years ago tho :undecided:

i can recommend the full cat back milltek exhaust system found at.......www.awesomegti.co.uk.......had my new exhaust for month or so now and still really enjoy the deep rumble it makes whilst passing chavs in their saxos......i went for twin pipe 4motion style exhaust with 4motion rear valance, whole job inc vat and fitting £395, life time guarantee !!   :wink:
